So it looks like #1 will face #6 (barring a miracle by the Panthers).  Now the question is:  will the all-around excellence of Seattle, led by their MVP running-back, take home the Lombardi Trophy, or will it be the Steelers, giving the Bus his ring in his final season?

This will be another exciting Superbowl, but I don't think it'll come down to the last two minutes.  Whomever's going to win this game will have it won by about five minutes remaining.  If the Steelers can take the lead into the 4th quarter, they'll probably hold on and become the first #6-seed to win a Superbowl.

I honestly don't know who's going to win this one.

If I had money to bet, I'd bet on the Steelers, not because I know anything about the team anymore, but because I can't stand anything associated with the state of Washington anymore.

Pity really, it looks like a nice place.

I think so, Brain, but how will we get the Spice Girls into the paella?

w00t! I called the Steelers several weeks ago and my friends told me Carolina.

Seattle by 10.

I don't know why.

Maybe I'm clairvoyant, because I sure as hell don't know anything about sports.

So who's it going to be then?  I didn't watch the games.

Seattle and Pittsburg.  The games sucked this weekend.

How so?  Just a couple of battles of who could suck the least?

Bishamonten

I only watch the super bowl for the possibility of exposed nipples...

The games weren't close.

I hate boring NFL games.  Its why I think the NFL is missing out by not having a monkey rule.  Any time both teams suck so bad it's boring, or one team sucks so bad that the game is completely lopsided, a buzzer should go off and a horde of rampaging monkeys should be loosed upon the field.

Equipped with tazers.

I agree.  That would make the games much more enjoyable.

So far I've been wrong about everything (Except the steelers beating the broncos), but my money is on the Steelers come Super Sunday.  I guess I just have never wanted to believe that the fuggin' seahawks would amount to anything.

Beefy

When is Super Sunday?

In honor of what happened two Superbowls ago, I present this comic, by Aaron Williams of Full Frontal Nerdity:

The pre-game Stevie Wonder extravaganza was one of the most laughable examples of choreography I have ever seen.

The FedEx caveman commercial was great.

Best commercials so far:

1.  ABC promos -- "Addicted to Lost" and sports stars talking about Desperate Housewives

2.  Dove -- "Campaign for Real Beauty"

The Steelers take it, 21 to 10. I have been dancing the dance of victory around my sister, who was pulling for Seattle.

I saw the Stones during halftime.  That's all I saw.

The FedEx commercial was great.  I liked the one where the dude tackled the chick and then she retaliates at the bar.

The game was pretty meh.  The 75 yard return was awesome, as was the gadget play from hell, but otherwise the only thing that the Steelers really had going for them was that Seattle was sucking just a tiny bit more than they were.

V for Vendetta needs to come out already.
