You cook it for 3 more minutes than it suggests so the outside edges of the cheese get really brown but not burnt.  Plus waiting for it to cook for 25 minutes builds up how badly you want it - you can smell it cooking and can almost taste it.  Then for the first few minutes of eating it - you have to blow on it to cool it down a bit before you get to put it in your mouth... making it taste that much better because of the anticipation.  And the cheese is actually creamy and warm, unlike powdered cheese poop.

It probably has something to do with the way I was the only one to touch the baked macaroni that my aunt would bring to family gatherings because I used to like it, but she burned it every time and I hated her so and I'm glad her white trash ass is no longer leeching from my uncle....
