If I had seen this post before I would have commented that I went to see this. It was ok. The DVD release was renamed to simply Zack and Miri. I guess the word "porno" was too risque for mainstream retail.

Timothy was completely creeped out, but also mad at the deviations from the book.  It was a hard lesson for him to learn, that the book is always better.

Well that's what I told him, basically.

I told him to let the book go, because there's no way to pack all the detail from a book into a movie.  It's never going to happen so just enjoy it for what it is.

He said the movie was way creepier.

Maximum Overdrive is awesome.  Who wouldn't love Lisa Simpson whining and Emilio Estevez taking on rogue trucks with the road twitch set to the dulcet tones of AC/DC?
