I was thinking last night... does anyone else find it ironic that Family Guy and American Dad air on Fox?  It just goes to show you that Fox(News) isn't so much about being right wing as it is about making a buck and having some power.  It's about business.

Or maybe I'm just an ass.

That's probably it.

Jessie

That's a good point.  How does the network that brought us Married with Children also bring us O'Reilly?  Doesn't make much sense, does it?
we should have kept the quote pyramid up to rape Jessie in the face.

You know, you had this stuff figured out without my input at all.  ;D

Beefy

Love him or hate him, Rupert Murdoch is a shrewd businessman.

fox news is still "new".  The crassness of the Fox Network has been around for well over a decade.  Murdoch just found another market niche to get ratings from.

Underneath this flabby exterior is an enormous lack of character.

Another quasi-coincidental, 20th Century FOX has been the distributor of all 6 SW films.  Creepy.

He's in the witness protection program.   He has to stay in hiding until the trial against Luke.  Everyone throught he died falling down the shaft, but it was really an elaborate scheme against Luke.   He's got an angle.

The Rocky 4 montage was awesome, especially since they used the same song.

The Aeon Flux trailer... not so awesome...

Cosby aerobics and the football game Brown vs. Board of Education.

I especially enjoyed the return of "ssss-AAAAAHHH!" and when Brian whacked Stewie for doing the "working on the book" high-voiced thing.

The episode overall was really good except for the very end, when they all deride Brian.

I also quite enjoyed the Rocky 4 thing.

FG is the only show I watch when it's on.  Well, that, American Dad, and Boondocks, but otherwise, I'm a taper.

(no, not one of these:

When Peter/Hannibal did it at the end of the A-Team lead-in.  Very funny.

Beefy

Please tell me someone else watched it tonight.  The Florida jokes were funny as hell, but the pedophilia Little Shop of Horrors reference/song... oh God... I was dying.

Gamplayerx

I didn't watch it and have never watched it, but I hear there was a Peanut Butter Jelly Time bit.

That's right, America.  I went there.  Come and get me."

OK I know The Family Guy writers sort of idolize the Simpsons writers, but that "box fort" gag was 99% stolen from the [1F01] "Rosebud" of the Simpsons.  I'm not joking.

"coming up an exclusive interview with Andrew Shue!"

For the second week in a row I missed it.  At least this time I was exercising and not just wasting time online and forgetting to watch my favorite TV show.  You know, I've owned a VCR for a decade and still NEVER remember to tape the shows that I like.  It's like some mental deficiency that I can't remember stuff like that.
