Uppity servant wreaks havoc in the household, getting the breadwinner fired and exposing the children to dangerous high altitude "fun."

Mary Poppins.

YES!  *lol*  Damn.  I figured I'd been sneaky enough.

Ok....

With the help of his sister and her boyfriend, the protagonist breaks up the bully's hideout and saves the world.
"Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?"
I think so, Brain, but how will we get the Spice Girls into the paella?

I didn't remember Mr Banks getting fired.  But then, it's been a while since I've seen M.P.

Secret agents Lou and Butch try to stop evil Mr Tinkles from committing genocide against their race; Lou must also save his family from Tinkles.

Have you seen Splendor?  Also stars Jonathan Schaech, and was written/directed by the same guy.  It's pretty good, but you'd expect it to have more nudity.  Oh, and the non-Schaech character -- yo-yo-guy -- was in ID4 as one of Randy Quaid's kids... that bugged me for WEEKS until I figured out who it was.  (this was in the pre-IMDB days)

Happily married man's new wife is screwing the reanimated corpse of his dead brother.  Piercing fetishists show up and cause havok.

I'm sort of surprised that at least Alice didn't pounce on this one.

I'll rephrase:

Man obsessed with puzzles finds himself enduring the pain of hell until he can dupe the new wife of his brother.

Alice

Two apathetic children are befriended by bears.  While in the forest, they are attacked by an eagle and a tree. Everything turns out fine.

This is a remake of Casablanca.  Barb Wire came from a comic book, which may have been influenced by Casablanca, I don't know.

No idea.  Haven't seen it.  Bronson, while great in certain roles, doesn't strike me as Bogart.

Quote
Many subsequent films have drawn on elements of Casablanca: Passage to Marseille reunited Bogart, Rains, Curtiz, Greenstreet and Lorre in 1944, while there are many similarities between Casablanca and a later Bogart film, Sirocco. Parodies have included the Marx Brothers' A Night in Casablanca (1946), Woody Allen's Play It Again, Sam (1972), and Barb Wire (1996), while it provided the title for the 1995 hit The Usual Suspects. Warner Brothers produced its own parody of the film in Carrotblanca, a 1995 Bugs Bunny cartoon. This is included on the special edition DVD release.

Time to spoil the two I put up that no one got:

Clone threatens to destroy the good guys, all because he can't get protagonist's blood.  Also, beloved character sacrifices himself to save everyone.

Star Trek Nemesis:

Clone (Shinzon) threatens to destroy the good guys (the Federation), all because he can't get protagonist's blood (he needs Picard's blood to survive).  Also, beloved character (Data) sacrifices himself (by blowing up the thalaron generator) to save everyone (the explosion destroys Shinzon's ship).

Overweight private detective unravels complex kidnapping, extortion, blackmail plot.  Janine Melnitz co-stars.  Shoe-Fu ensues.

Who's Harry Crumb:

Overweight private detective (John Candy as Harry Crumb) unravels complex kidnapping, extortion, blackmail plot (I can never follow it, but a rich guy's daughter was kidnapped, and his wife is sleeping with the tennis instructor, and someone's blackmailing her so the rich guy doesn't find out... it's very complex for such a silly little film).  Janine Melnitz (Annie Potts) co-stars (as the rich guy's wife).  Shoe-Fu ensues (in the final sequence, Candy faces off against tennis instructor Tim Thomerson on an airplane, and knocks him out by kicking his shoes at him in a kung-fu style move).
