Aren't Wal-Mart and Sam's both owned by the Walton group?  We have a Sam's Club.  No Wal-Mart.  No Target.  No K-Mart.  No Sonic.  No White Castle.  No In-N-Out Burger. 

I went to the Target by my dad's house once.  I bought some shampoo.  It wasn't a Super Target, but the Wal-Mart next door was.  But I didn't go there.

Towel-i-ban cracked me up.  And reminded me of the joke my boss told me today.  I'm no good at jokes, but I'll try to remember it.

A Taliban was stumbling through the desert, dying of thirst, when he happens upon a kiosk.  "Water," he croaks to the vendor.

"Sorry.  I only sell ties.  All ties $5.  Want a tie?" asks the vendor.

"Dirty Jew!  I don't want any ties!  I just need water!" spits the Taliban.

"Well, if you need water, I know of a restaurant about 2.5 miles in that direction. All the water you could want there."

So the Taliban shuffles off, muttering "Dirty Jew" under his breath as he goes.

A couple of hours later, he returns to the kiosk.  "Okay, here's $5. Give me a tie."

The vendor asks, "Why the change of heart?"

"Your damn brother won't let me in his restaurant without one."

(it was funnier when he told it)

There is a Target in Bowie.  I remember HB complaining that was too far to live from a Target, if we were moving there.  The next thing I know, I am looking for homes in Bowie...

Now I am in Idaho.  WTF?

Yeah.  I don't go to Bowie.  Well, I went there once to meet Mr. and Mrs. BigDun and Cnamon for dinner.  And I've been to a couple of Bowie Baysox games.  And once I went to Lowe's, 'cause Grumpus wanted to get his dad a Lowe's gift certificate for something.  But other than that, no Bowie.

Gamp, we were out on the Eastern Shore on Sunday at our friends' beach house.  I mentioned that I still have not been to Annapolis.  That will be rectified soon.
