Advice Please!

My friend that took one of the puppies (the one I wanted before Bruce got hurt) just broke up with his boyfriend and was kicked out.  Now he's living couch to couch and needs someone to watch Lain for a "few weeks"... until he saves up money to get his own place.  He's lived on his own before with this same job - so I don't think this is a permanent thing.  Though it could very well turn out to be that way.

What do you think I should do?

A) Take the Puppy in, let him stay where he is at
B) Take the Dog and The Puppy
C) Run, it will be a rebound thing.

Well, Lain is now living with us for the time being.  We made an informal contract - so hopefully things work out well.
