I bought the new CD by The Decemberists on a whim yesterday. I'd been reading good reviews and had gone to cdnow.com to listen to snippets. Decent, but not compelling enough to justify the raves the disc was receiving. When I got to Best Buy to pick up some specific CDs, they didn't have them. But I noticed they had the Decemberists disc. So I grabbed it. It's really, really good. Really. Those snippets didn't do it justice. I am going to track down the rest of their stuff. And I'll try and get some posted in the gmail dump.  |

The very first day the dump opened, the first song I posted was the Mariners Songs. That album is fan fucking tasting. So are the rest of their albums.
