WTF is it with people guarding recipes?  If I have a recipe that people think is good enough to ask for, I'll definitely share it.  There's too much crappy food in this world to NOT share recipes for good food.

So what if your great great grandmother came up with the recipe and it's been handed down for 100 years.  If you want it to continue- SHARE IT.
