Universal Solider. I'm pretty sure that got bad reviews but I liked it alot.

I like Jean Claude Van Dam. There I said it. He is a horrible actor but I find his movies entertaining.

I keep threatening to make my wife watch Bloodsport.

"It's got Ogre in it!"
"Who?"
"*sigh*."

Alice

Memphis Belle is my favorite movie.  I'm pretty sure most would consider it mediocre.

Office Space
waiting was successful enough to spawn waiting 2

Office Space has crawled from unknown indie to being quoted by every bland corporate middle manager unironically

not considered a bad or bland movie by any means, but never was mainstream or indie enough to get notice.  it rules.  i think people were tired of that style of movie by this point.

i saw it in theaters and I laughed my ass off, I saw it 2 years later on TV and I wondered why I even went

Chasing Amy remains Smith's best film because it is also the most honest and human.

I thought someone had posted about "Knowing" in here and now I can't find it. I just watched it tonight. I'm not a big Nick Cage fan but I really liked this one. I thought the end was a little meh but overall I was entertained.

BTW Cathr this is the most fun thread in a while. Good job.

We watched "Knowing" last week. We thought it was a pretty good flick. Spooky and mysterious if a little predictable.

OK remember I'm the kiddo of this group at 31 but Big Trouble in little china was actually the first movie I ever saw in a theater. At the time I thought it was the greatest movie ever Kurt Russel a bad ass running over and through crap with a semi truck. You couldn't get any cooler than that back then. Actually Kurt Russel was my fav actor until he made "breakdown" then I lost a lot of respect for him. I still think that is the worst movie ever. And I know there are some pretty bad ones.

not to be a jerk my friend, but I'm pretty sure this is acknowledged as sort of a cult classic

Breakdown is a horrible movie.

You're kind of in the mean age of the group at 31, don't worry.
