I also purchased What Color Is Your Parachute. I am switching between it and Stephenson's book. They both bore me equally so far.

It contains a lot of adult content.  I was surprised due to the fact that she authors children's books.

Then I don't want to tell you about Shel Silverstien, for fear you have a heart attack.  :D

Oh, no, the adult content didn't bother me one bit.  It just surprised me that she could write something other than a children's book.

I read What Color Is Your Parachute. As you can tell, it helped me a lot.
Underneath this flabby exterior is an enormous lack of character.

What? Your dream job isn't helping your ass of a boss plagiarize someone else's work so he can call it his own?

I just started Quicksilver by Neal Stephenson. Fricken book is 1000 pages long.

And sadly, not so good. :( Cryptonomicon is the bomb though.
You forgot that it's only the first 1/3 of the freakin' story...
I was just wondering...

Han Solo took it pretty hard, too.

I dig the New Jedi Order books, but the last time I read one was two years ago.  My wife won't let me leave them sitting out in the open, so I forget about them.

Yea it's pretty heart breaking.  He blames his son and then later, himself.  I'm really surprised to see one of the core characters get the axe.  It's pretty daring, especially someone as loved as chewie.
