It's hard to tell how funny looking he is in these pics, he doesn't like cameras.  But in the first one, you can see how short his legs are.  Yet he has a regular lab body and a big lab head.

I'm laughing over here cuz you have no idea how funny he really stands.  His back right leg doesn't function properly, he's my little gimp.  But he has no clue there's anything wrong with him.  He's actually just started jumping up and keeping weight on both back legs for about a minute at a time.  (He didn't start really jumping until he was almost 1, so this is a good thing to me that he's learning to balance himself.)

She's bigger than that now.  She grew a little bit once I started feeding her.  I'll be interested to see how she and the dog will get along when they are reunited.  Will she go back to her old tricks?  Will it be worse because it's her turf?  Or will Buddy grow a pair and give her what for?  Who knows.  Tune in for next month's exciting episode.
