Well, our technique will improve when we get an actual rolling pin, but for having to roll the pasta out using a can of PAM, I think we did pretty well. 

We tossed it with olive oil, a bit of crumbled gorgonzola, some dried oregano & basil, minced garlic and red pepper flakes.

I used to have a pasta machine. Practically wore the thing out. I don't know where you get off with this "hand-rolled" nonsense.

That sounds delicious.  We had a pasta maker when I was growing up.  I loved it.

I've always wanted to make fresh pasta, but then I always wonder if it's really better than store bought.

Yes.  Well, it's better than the hard stick noodles that you have to reconstitute.  I've had some really good "fresh" pasta that was store bought.

This was really good, but we didn't roll it quite thin enough, so the texture was weird.  I think it's better than the dried though.

And why on earth would you put that or 10-40 to lube it just before running through something you were going to eat???
