Got this question from a friend of mine, and I don't have an answer- any thoughts?

We got a new computer and I want to transfer my favorites from the old computer to the new, anyway I can do this?
"Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?"
I think so, Brain, but how will we get the Spice Girls into the paella?

I like pie.

And yes, you can copy favorites over. Are these IE favorites?

I'm going to assume so.  She doesn't strike me as the Mozilla or Linux type.

Have her look for the Favorites folder. It is normally located at:

C:\Documents and Settings\whateverthehellyourusernameis\Favorites

All she'll need to do is to copy whatever is in that folder from the old computer to the new one. If she's got them arranged in any sort of special way she'll be SOL as far as that goes. The new computer is going to reorganize the files by name when she copies them over. At least that's what always happens to me.
