Apparently the standard mt dew smell NOT being there didnt phase him, or the gentle scent of chilled urine.  The clerk must have carefully opened the bottle so the retaining rind didnt break off so he could fill it.

Shouldnt he have also atleast noticed the lack of the carbonation fizz?   unless it was just a partial fill??
