So I got this new-to-me laptop.  I can get it connected to my wireless network, the signal is great, but I can't GO anywhere- it can't find any websites.

I had this happen before when I first got the router, but I can't remember how to fix it.

Any suggestions?

one issue is that the router security might be restricted to only certain computer types. 

see if you can get to your router by

192.168.1.1
(if linksys different brands have different defaults)

I will try that tonight.  (it's at home, I'm at work, I figured I'd ask now and have all sorts of good ideas by the time I got home)
