I was outside reading while Timothy was riding his bike, and he yelled, "MOM, KITTENS!!"

Long story short, one of the strays had a litter under the neighbor's deck.  She said they've been handling them, but not feeding them.  She doesn't drive, so she can't take them anywhere.  I offered to take them to the pound tomorrow, or to the pet store, if they'll take them. 

Rumor has it that management around here has been catching and killing the strays, and they're big enough to run into the street.  I figure their odds are better anywhere else.  They're adorable, and all fell asleep on my chest, purring, after I gave them their first solid food.

I'd keep them if I could.  Also, the little black one looks just like Stevie did, minus the gunk.

This is a rumor from the neighbor.  Her brother does the painting though, so she MIGHT know what she's talking about.  Maybe they just have them put down, I don't know. 

Either way, just about anywhere's better than living on the street, where they'll most likely be run over. 

They're SO sweet.  God help me when I don't have someone to keep me in check when it comes to animals.  I'm going to end up a fark greenlight one day.

Oh I know.  I just think they probably do that as opposed to taking them out back and shooting them or something.  It sounds better, but it's the same thing, essentially.

Dunno.  Haven't opened them yet. I bought them because my nephew's coming to stay with us this week and I figure two 12 year old boys will eat a lot of cereal.  I love store brands!  I'm cheap like that.
