Well, all year I'd been saying this is the Colts' year.

I guess it's not.

My new pick for the Superbowl winner:  Carolina.

The Colts can never bring it upon themselves to win the big game.

The Steelers certainly made the mistakes to keep them in it, though, didn't they.

they did.  Fortunately for the Steelers (and me, since I had money on it) they were up against the Colts and it was a big game.  As good a quarterback as Manning is, he'll never be "great" until he proves he can win the big ones.

Stupid Bears defense.   >:(
what bears defense?
No kidding.

I think Carolina will win... because they made the Bears look like this was the first game of football they've ever played.

Not like it matters, but I am fabulously happy about the way the AFC rounded out.  I LOVED it that the Broncos beat the Pats, and I was pretty stoaked about the Steelers nudging out the Colts.  Now at least there is no fanfare about Invincible Indy or the Dynastic Patriots in the AFC Championship.  There are just 2 strong football teams who will go in and whack the shit out of eachother and it should be an awesome game.
NFC, I thought the Bears were doing okay with defense, they just couldn't make anything happen offensively until too late.  I hope the Seahawks and Broncos win their respective divisions so I can see them in the Superbowl.....but that's just me being selfish.  Of course the Broncos have to win the Superbowl in that scenario...and if it comes to that, I'm not sure if they can....
Can't wait to see how next week pans out.....GO BRONCOS!
Have you ever seen a llama kiss a llama on the llama?

Even though the Bears aren't making it to the SB - I am consoled by the fact that the Pats aren't either.

Colts lose....shocked me to my football core.  Talk about not being prepared and getting whupped by a MUCH more physical team.
Steelers win...DAMN!!!  They just bitchslapped the Indy O-line and Peyton was on the run the whole day

Broncos win...Hell yeah!!
Pats lose...It's about damned time!!  Brady is good, really good, but he can't run the ball and throw it at the same time.  Paging Mr. Dillon, Mr. Corey Dillon.....

Seabags win...yeah, had that one figured.  Hasselbeck looks really good.  Apparently, he finally "gets it" in Holmgren's offense.  Took Favre awhile too.
DeadSkins lose... Little suprise considering their inconsisent offense this year.  Get them one or two more WR's though and a QB not named Ramsey or Brunnell and they'll be scaring people

Bears lose...  Wow!  Talk about bending over Brokeback style.  The defense got scored on more times than Jessie at prom.(just kidding Jess )
Panthers win...  Can you quadruple team Steve Smith?  Is that legal?  But they paid a heavy price in losing DeShon Foster to a broken ankle.  Next up in their runningback assembly line, Nick Goings.  He's a bruiser but not the best prospect for the Conference Finals.

haha joke's on you, I didn't even go to prom.
we should have kept the quote pyramid up to rape Jessie in the face.

My prediction is a Steelers/Carolina Superbowl. I have tremendous respect for both teams, and I have no idea who really has what it's going to take to win such a game.  I watched Carolina for two years when I lived there, and all I can say about them now is that they are a load of magnificent bastards.  They were worthy adversaries indeed and made my bears and their fuck-em-up defense look like a bunch of high school kids who were used to playing flag football.

Anyway, I'm also glad that Indy and the pats are out.  It's nice to see overrated teams being beat out to make the playoffs more interesting.

My money, were I a betting man, would be Carolina by 3 over the Steelers in the superbowl, but part of me wants to see Bill Cowher win the big one because I think he deserves it.  Not that John Fox doesn't, but I think he'll get one in his time as well.

Dude, WHAT?  Nick Goings only rushed for six 100 yard games last year... and he only started in 8... if he'd played all season he might've been a 100-yard-rusher.

I tried to buy a Nick Goings jersey last year but they wouldn't personalize Panthers jerseys for some reason.

That dude is getting a big contract come this offseason... maybe not from Carolina, but from someone.

How can you hang your hopes on Deshaun Foster, anyway?  He's always injured.

I have two words for your Nick Goings beliefs:  Anthony Johnson.  Same body, same stylye, same short term stats, minus 10 years.
