I should probably rephrase- I've only ever made chocolate fondue that came out good.  The cheese fondue I tried came out tasting horrendously yucky, and I haven't tried anything else.

Actually, those cheese fondue packets you can buy at the grocery store are pretty good.  It's my kind of cooking.  Not as good as real fresh fondue from little dark Swiss fondue restaurants, but good.

No- I was 16, and all I remember was the food on that whole trip sucked, which was a complete letdown.

I have good fondue.  So does the Melting Pot (I've been to the one in Annapolis, Scottsdale and Minneapolis)

I am either going to Zurich or Sydney this year.  Does Zurich have good fondue?

Melting Pot is okay - more fun than good eating.  Zurich is in the German part of Switzerland; I don't know about their fondue, but I'm fond of their skiing and banking and bratwurst.

I second the vote for the posting of the beef fondue sauce.
