tickets sold out in 30 minutes.

since i am living on unemployment until classes start in the fall (and because it was important to have charles cremated), no tickets for me. however, in an interesting twist, the woman that originally found charles - with bleeding feet, from having run so far - works for YUM brands, who often have tickets like this available. she's going to see what she can do for me. but i'm not holding my breath.

i would rather see tom waits more than any other living - and many dead - musician.

You should have mentioned this before.  I would have donated money to make sure at least one of my good friends gets to Waits since he's not coming to my neck of the woods!!

I'd probably have held it over your head for the rest of your life and attempted to get blowjobs in return everytime I got drunk... so you know... getting things from me are something of a double edged sword.  Unless, of course, you're getting herpes from me...

I didn't get to go.  My insides started acting up and all of the things I could have done to reverse that would have prevented me from going to work the next day, which I couldn't miss because I'm the boss right now and had to do timesheets.

I spent that night dealing with my intestines and lost out on the concert and 200 bucks.
