Nesh and I trundled out to the E St. theatre in DC to see Brick last night.  It was easily one of the best new films I've seen in ten years.  The direction and writing are incredibly tight and the acting is all top notch.  One wouldn't think a film noir setting in a high school was possible without turning into a parody of the genre, but Rian Johnson's script doesn't falter for a moment.  Joseph Gordon-Levitt( Yes, the kid from 3rd Rock from the Sun ) pulls out a hell of a performance as the main character and makes the perfect film noir partnership with Matt O'Leary's character "The Brain."  Easily worth your time and your money to go see if you can find it.

I love the E Street Cinema!

Although that movie will probably not appeal to me, I just wanted to say that I like that theatre.

Was it mighty, mighty?

She's a brick and I'm drowning slowly.

She's a brick----house

She's a brick----house
She's the one, the only one,

We're together everybody knows,
and here's how the story goes.
