A sequel of sorts, apparently, to American Gods, a book I enjoyed but remained somewhat aloof from.  Gaiman did his homework too well in that look at myths, Gods, and legends, and dipped freely into that pit of knowledge without really explaining the references along the way.  I often felt like I simply wasn't getting it, though I still was able to follow the basic plot.

They say this one is lighter and more emotional.  I'll still give it a shot.

It's in my next Amazon order, along with Terry Pratchett's "THUD" and the Final Fantasy 7 movie (Advent Children).
