My HS Sex ed teacher wouldn't say sex, but instead wrote it on the board and then pointed to it.
we should have kept the quote pyramid up to rape Jessie in the face.

We never had Sex Ed nor did we see any of the films.
Underneath this flabby exterior is an enormous lack of character.

Gamplayerx

We was "Am I Normal?" in 5th grade.  It was very bad.  Then, the separated the boys from the girls and we watched some other film that I can't remember highlighting the wonders of menstruation.

DownSouth

Our middle school coaches taught sex ed for like 2 days..  We didn't have any videos.
16:15:43 [Gamplayerx] Juneau, I could really go for some pie. You better Belize it!

Jessie

We didn't have sex ed, per se, we had a sex chapter in our health books.

The health/PE teacher looked like Benny Hill.

She was a woman.

We were all stripped of our clothes in 7th grade and locked in the gym for 6 hours.  I'm really awkward at intimate situations, but I can navigate an orgy like nobody's business!

I remember the same thing, except it was in high school.  Most of the girls already had their period by that point.  Our teacher was a mental.

The girls saw some movie while all the guys got an extra recess. I think it was in fifth or sixth grade. I guess the guys were supposed to figure out the whole puberty thing by themselves.

yeah, in 5th grade, the girls saw the girls movie and the guys got an extra recess. in 6th grade both the girls and the guys saw the guys movie - separately, of course. and..... i guess the guys were just supposed to figure out the girl stuff later. after they either made someone pregnant or garnered their red wings.

I'm still not clear why they don't show both videos to everyone...

Infobahn

I remember the nurse saying to the boys "Breasts aren't for filling bikinis"

Like hell their not.

i believe the thinking was that if everyone watched both the movies, it would be like showing porn to 12 year olds. we would become overwhelmed with lustful yet fearful feelings and bad things would happen.

i have no earthly idea why they didn't. it was really stupid.

Better to hear a zookeeper talk about animal shlong than to discuss the practical applications of a vagina.

well, most boys can figure out the practical applications of a vagina. at least as far as it concerns them. the movies should have included a section entitled A Few Notes on the Clitoris, though.

All I remember about the sex ed class was being in a room with a bunch of other ninth grade boys, and the teacher, who was also the football coach, talked to us about Spermicide cream, and he put some in his hand and went near Kenny Siew, who promptly dove under his desk.

He was pretty cool though. He had his black belt in Kung Fu.
