A coworker brought this in today.  SO.  GOOD.

3 blocks cream cheese
2 cups finely shredded cheddar
1 package Hidden Valley Ranch Dip Mix (not the dressing mix- I guess there's a difference)
1 can beer.  (she used Bud Lite- I plan on using beer)

Mix together.  Chill.

She said you have to stir it a LONG time, and when you start, you'll think you goofed it up.  (?)
