Early word is exceptionally enthusiastic.  They're saying Zemeckis is taking great pains to stay true to the original story, even in detriment to the commercial possibilities of the film.  They're even including the male nudity, though choreographing it so you don't see anything.

I'm tired of Jolie, though.  Even if she did do her part in this years ago.

You can also see it in digital or in old fashioned analog form.

I watched it.

eh.  *shrug*  Not really all that epic, but there are parts that are VERY COOL.  Plus, Angelina Jolie makes me want to butt my head against a wall.  Damn.   :o
