Trivia:

The producers of the Shining wanted to film it here:  http://www.skytop.com/  Ursus and I both worked there.

Anyway- the resort owners said no, they thought the filming would "put out" the guests.  (they had people who came there every year for the last 137 or so from the looks of the regular guests I knew)

So, there.  Almost a brush with film history.  Almost.
