I've been reading (and have nearly finished) American Psycho since Monday.  I watched the movie years ago and didn't think much about it since.  My tastes have changed a lot since then (I blame Beefy and Carroll equally).

Reading that book on the plane today, I think I may have been blushing reading the graphic sex scenes and I know I visibly winced at several of the murder scenes.  The people on the plane probably thought I was disturbed in some way.

It's a good book though.  It definitely does what it does quite well.  Yikes. 
we should have kept the quote pyramid up to rape Jessie in the face.
