But if you stick your USB into someone else's USB, you're basically being with every USB they've ever been with.  So you've got that to think about.

The problem with this idea is that you need a USB port for each battery.  Great idea if you have a bunch of stuff that only takes 2 batteries and you have 2 open USB ports (because honestly, what takes ONE AA battery?), but I can see that becoming a pain really quickly.  Now, the cell phone batteries and the 9 volt batteries are a different deal.  That would be less problematic, since those are usually used alone.  Being able to charge your phone when you're near any computer is a cool thing.


Edit:  Wow.  They're also $19 per set of 2.
