Is double plus ungood.

I sent Diet Coke an e-mail to let them know this fact.  They're very sorry that I don't like it.

Alice

Is that the stuff with all the vitamins and crap in it?

dazie

I saw that in the store the other day.  I thought the cans were pretty, but they didn't make me want to drink it.
"Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?"
I think so, Brain, but how will we get the Spice Girls into the paella?

Yes.  One of the key crap ingredients is zinc.

Blech!

Dazie, I agree, the label is very pretty.

Beefy

Is that the bottle with the blue cap?  I saw that yesterday and it scared me.

Then again, I'd probably like it.

But I'm trying to steer clear of caffiene, so no can do anyways.

Jessie

I haven't tried it because I haven't seen a caffeine free variety.
we should have kept the quote pyramid up to rape Jessie in the face.

Gamplayerx

Yes, blue cap.  I don't believe it comes in caffeine free.  So, consider yourselves lucky that you're not tempted to try this miserable nasty gross vile beverage.

meredith

ew yeah.. zinc, for one, has a strong flavor

and why avoid caffeine? it's good for you!

well i can understand beefy's case

Jessie

Caffeine may kill me.  Why are you out to get me hatt???

As you get older you're supposed to have more vitamin supplements, right?
11:42:24 [Gamplayerx] I keep getting knocked up.
11:42:28 [Gamplayerx] Er. OUT!

Gamplayerx

Exactly who are you calling old there, Grandpa?

Haha.  Trust me, you wouldn't like Diet Coke Plus - it's like someone bottled death.  Perhaps you could try Centrum Silver?

swolt

I won't drink it because it says "Diet"

That's because persons of Far Eastern descent are immune to zinc.

In my experience, women are usually so subconsciously programmed to attach to diet beverages that they ignore and/or disagree when I say it, but:

Aspartame is bad for you. Diet drinks are a sham.

Jessie

I drink Diet Coke because I've gotten used to how it tastes and I like it.

I think Sarah's gonna come in here and disagree with you.  That's just a guess.

don't disagree with Sarah...

I drink diet soda because I hate high fructose corn syrup.  I drink Diet Coke because I like it.  Also, I disagree with you.  I believe we've had the aspartame argument before.

My point exactly. Aspartame does not exist in nature.

Preferences aside, I maintain that aspartame is not good for you.

I was going to ask for evidence, but it seems controversial enough.

I'd still say the cost-benefit for aspartame  is well worth it if it helps a fat person lose weight.

I also don't believe that if something is synthetic it is automatically harmful, much like natural/organic things aren't neccessarily healthy.

Jessie

With all the shit we put in our bodies and expose ourselves to in our environment, a diet coke is probably the least of our worries.

Plus, it tastes good.

I doubt very much that the environment would harm you for exposing your self to it ( ;) ), so you really shouldn't worry about that.

Have you seen Evil Dead 1 or 2?  You know the tree scenes in those films?  That's what would happen if I did that.

I had this diet caremel cream pepsi last night because it was next to the checkout and looked interesting.  Now before I used to be on the anti-diet soda bandwagon, however over the last year or so I have come to join the pro diet soda side.  Even still, I am picky and prefer diet coke over diet pepsi.  But this soda was the yummiest soda I have had in a while.  It tasted like cream soda with a little pepsi mixed in.  If I were given a choice between diet coke and a diet caramel cream pepsi, I would chose the latter.

dazie

That sounds somewhat yucky.

One of my coworkers swears it's the best diet soda to come along in ages and ages.  Of course she's a girl, and thus I immediately discounted her opinion.
