Dreaming

My boy is dream woofing.  I love it when he does that.  It's one of my favorite things about dogs.

Though I hate it when it seems like he's having a bad dream.  I always wake him up, then he sighs at me - so I'm thinking maybe I suck at telling when he's having a bad dream.

Once when I was taking a nap, I started to have a bad dream. One of those where you can't escape from some dreaded thing that is stalking you. I woke up to find my dog laying on my wife's pillow with her paw on my shoulder staring into my eyes. I had obviously been twitching in my sleep and my dog started pushing on my shoulder until I woke up. She had never done that before or since.

Actually my wife doesn't take naps. I don't know how it's possible, but she doesn't like to nap. My dog loves to take naps with me, so she gets my wife's pillow.
