The horse is from some book and the pig is from another Franz Marc painting.

Painting and sketching out the works of others has been extremely helpful in seeing the barebones of how a style works. I've been purposefully dissecting cubism recently and feel almost ready to try my hand at an original. Yes, I am totally going to make cubist renditions of corgis.

Very hip.  I like the horse very much.
"Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?"
I think so, Brain, but how will we get the Spice Girls into the paella?

I was a little worried at first when I saw horse and pig in the Hobby night section...I am glad I was wrong.

It looks good.  I like your sketches.

I am getting better, thankfully, and have recently decided to treat art as I would a part time job by devoting at least an hour to sketching or painting every day.

I like them.

the horse looks a bit in shock, but not an angry or scared shock, just a sort of "whoa!" shock.  not a "whoa!" like they say to slow down horses either.

Wouldn't the horse have to be doing "it" to the pig to call it "porking"?  Otherwise it would be called "horsing"

I disagree.  If the pigs doing the horse, wouldn't it still be porking?  Clearly, I don't have enough experience in pig-horse relations to be sure of the nomenclature.

SockmonkeyHolocaust

Russ, he's not going to... pork her.

Otter: Let me give you a hint. She's got a couple of major-league yabbos.
Boon: Norma!
Otter: No. But you're getting warmer. Here's another: "Oh God, Oh God, OH GOD!"
Boon: Marlene! You're gonna pork Marlene Desmond!
Otter: Pork?
Boon: You're gonna hump her brains out, aren't you?
Otter: Boon, I anticipate a deeply religious experience.
