Who is Dane Cook, and why did he get to host SNL last week?

I saw the first 15 minutes.  I fell asleep, and woke up somewhere toward the end.

So tonight, we watched the TiVoed version of SNL with Dane Cook. 

They announced his name at the beginning, and HB said "who?"

I laughed very hard.

I watched a bit of Tourgasm last night.

He wasn't bad.  I think what annoyed me about him last time is that he couldn't get a joke in without some girl swooning and screaming "I LOVE YOU DANE!  WOOOOO!"

He was talking about a lady throwing up jazz hands to block a tire from hitting her face at a NASCAR race.  I think I will watch it again to make sure it wasn't a fluke.
