My central A/C is leaking

My wife won't let me set the thermostat any lower that 72. Setting it to 67 sounds like heaven.

Mine is set to 70 right now, but with the heat the way it is it doesn't cool much below 74 or 75 during the hottest part of the day.

We only have one thermostat and it's upstairs, so either it's freezing downstairs or sweltering upstairs.

i hear places with humidity have condensation issues with their AC.  so it might not be a leak as much as nature.  holy moley we don't turn our ac below 76 and my parents don't turn it below 80

2nd.  Gushing water, while good for a laugh, is a sure sign that something is pretty FUBAR.

my a/c hasn't started back up since our power went out with a storm yesterday morning. it was 80 degree's in the house overnight. i tried flipping the switch on and off, and moving the thermostat to 60 degrees, neither worked.

I did. I also went outside to where the big fan thing is, there's a bee's nest in the little boxed in area that leads to the house. that could be an adventure after work.

Mine was struggling yesterday when it was 99.  I had it set on 68 and it was about 75.

The AC in my apartment is awesome.  I think the thermostat is wrong, because I get cold with it set on 75.  Maybe I'm just wrong, though.
