Here are the dogs with which we are sharing a house:

Oreo, angsty and emo

Zak, who is eager to please

Both together

They're actually both very good dogs, very friendly and well-adjusted.  Zak is my dad's and Oreo is nominally my sister's.

Is that a trap door they're lying on?

Are these the dogs that are trained to ring the bell when they want out?
"Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?"
I think so, Brain, but how will we get the Spice Girls into the paella?

No, it's a spare piece of carpet at the foot of my parents' bed that they sometimes lay upon.

Yup.  Although now it's no longer "Zak rings bell because Oreo has to go out".  Now it's "Oreo rings bell, but only has to go out 20% of the time, and if she really has to go, Zak walks up to you and starts barking loudly".

They're cute.

You should totally install a trap door and not tell anybody!
