Title: The Dingus Inheritance
Post by: dazie on April 08, 2006, 10:25:57 PM
We went down and inspected the Dingus inheritance today- check out the attached.  Once we got the road sign out of the front window, we boarded it up (I say we- I just put a new lock on and then supervised)  Met the neighbors and took a bit of a tour.  All in all a nice day.

This cabin was built by Hiram Winford Dingus in the late 1800's. For those keeping score, that's Ursus' Great-grandfather.

Somewhere down the line we're going to move the cabin back from the road so all the dumbass children in the county don't think of it as their private target practice.  I'd say make-out place, but no girl in the world would consider gettin' busy inside.

Once it's cleaned up it'll be a neat place to camp.

BTW- That's Ursus on the left, with our 14 yr old son with him.

I don't know what I find more disturbing, Ursus possibly wearing black socks with shorts, or ReBurn noticing.

Is Ursus wearing black socks with his shorts?

Indeed.  Black argyle I think.  And black low top Chucks.  Ursus is not a fashion victim.

Yes, sort of.  A shack with 50 acres of land.

No- that was Hiram Jasper.  Hiram Winford's father.

There are two apartment buildings at the end of my street that have those round parts that make me think if Rapunzel.

I tell people to turn left at the ghetto castles.

I'm reading a book where just in the last paragraph (which I literally read about 5 minutes ago), Rapunzel entered the scene.

I love old Victorian homes.  I want one.

My mom's apt. in Baltimore had a turret (sp?)...the ceiling of the round part was painted like the sky and she had a pretty brass chandelier (I usually don't like brass, but it worked so well...like the sun).
