Mama Stamberg's Cranberry Sauce

2 C. raw cranberries
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 C. sugar
3/4 C. sour cream
2 TBS horseradish sauce

Grind together the cranberries and onion.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix.
Freeze this solid, but a few hours before serving remove from freezer and place in the fridge.

Makes about 1 pint

(Sorry I forgot to post it earlier!)

Is it pink?  What do you do with it?  I can't imagine what this tastes like.

It's kinda pepto colored.  I put it on meats- it goes great with turkey, but I also like it on prime rib.

You know- I can get dry ice at work.  The big cooler of it sits in the hallway.

Did you ever have dc bring home ice cream from the PSU Creamery?  They'd pack it in dry ice for the trip.

Thank God I don't eat at your Thanksgiving dinner.  Do you dip the turkey in chocolate and peas?

Poor sad thread with so many long lost people in it.   :'(

However- I made this tonight WITH MY NEW FOOD PROCESSOR.  OMG.  I can't believe I waited this long to buy one.  A huge batch of this stuff took about 30 seconds to make.
