Title: Winter Olympics
Post by: BigDun on February 13, 2010, 01:26:13 AM
Anyone watching?

I googled the Georgian luger who crashed and saw the raw, unedited video. Yikes and sad.

The NBC director ruined the part of the show where it was the single wire actor working above the video of the fields. The show isn't about the fricken expresion on his face! It's about the grace and interaction of the video projection. STOP IT WITH THE CLOSE ZOOMS THAT SHOW THE WIRES AND MECHANICS!

I wonder if there is somewhere online I can watch a different director's camera selection that would allow me to see the show how the creator envisioned it.

I hate that.  They do it all the time with drum corps shows.

I don't really NEED to see how sweaty that guard chick is.  Can you just pull back and let me see the whole damn field?  TYVM.

That said- I loved it.  I even loved the oops with the flame thing.

We had crazy olympic fan guests for 5 days, so I watched more olympics that I have in my entire life put together up to this point.

Your guest wished me a happy Valentines Day! You better watch out, 'cause she'll be my BFF before you know it.  :D

I had to go to the slopes today after watching the downhill and super g events. I might go again tomorrow.

Crystal Mountain has perfect conditions this weekend. Sunny and dry with lows at night near 20 and highs in the day at just above 30.

Anyone besides me and my wife find the ice skating, brother and sister duo somewhat disturbing?

I find that first set of outfits really disturbing.

Also, to answer your question, yes.

I hated that movie so much that I didn't remember it enough to recognize that those pictures came from it until dazie told me.

HATED that movie.
