I have an excessive appreciation for Hendricks gin Matinis but I've lately been developing a taste for bourbon and scotch. I finished off the bottle of Woodford Reserve Bourbon that nishi gave us a couple years ago and it was great.

Rum and diet pepsi, or dr. pepper.

Are you just a fan of diet drinks or does the rum manage to mask that "dry dirt" flavor in all the diet drinks?
Pepsi makes my teeth hurt, dt. pepsi doesn't. not a coke can. if i'm ordering at a bar, i'll just get a rum and coke, because i'm not fussy, but if i'm making the drink, it's usually diet pepsi, or doctor pepper.

You do have to specify. Jerks order these flavored martinis and thats all vodka. They're common enough that martini is pretty nebulous. Also, I have to order "gin martini, stirred". Because I'm an elitist fuck.

couple of weeks ago I had a bladder infection and my doc told me to drink cranberry juice....I took it upon myself to splash in a shot of vodka. LOL
Sunkist Sparkling Lemonade. Wish there was a diet version. Same for their new Cherry Lime soda.
On the hot days here, I've really been enjoying Mike's Hard Cranberry. Refreshingly cold and tart.
Tequila and OJ or Tequila and Pineapple. So very yummy.
Strawberry mojitos have been my main drink (also real, not syrup grossness). However I just got a margarita machine, and I have stumbled upon the most delicious margarita ever:
watermelon chunks
frozen strawberries
limeade
tequila
I have to have the Simply brand limeade because I'm elitist also.
I have a friend who goes into an incredibly adorable rant about vodka martinis.
