Title: What kind of glue?
Post by: dazie on October 07, 2008, 06:27:04 PM
What kind of glue would you use to glue together glazed terracotta?

It needs to be food safe.

Are the parts your sticking together glazed?  Or is it broken so those edges have no glaze?

Just the outside of the piece is glazed.  The inside and the parts where the glue will go are not.

I'd get some Rhino Glue, then.

Next time I drop it though- duct tape.

I once glued together an ashtray with superglue.  I don't know what Rhino Glue is, but presuming it's similar, that should work.  Although, it's really hard to go wrong with duct tape.
