Title: My favorite book ever.
Post by: Alice on May 14, 2005, 08:34:32 PM
If any of you have time to read, I'm dying for someone to discuss this book with.  It's non-fiction and about hate crimes.  I get people to agree to read it, then they see that it's 900 pages and they won't read it.

So, if anyone wants to read it - I'll love you forever.

The Culture of Make Believe (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1931498571/qid=1116120549/sr=8-1/ref=pd_csp_1/103-2766310-6927855?v=glance&s=books&n=507846).

900 pages about hate crimes?  Sweetie, I think you rock, but I don't think even eternal love is enough.

That looks like it might be a good read.  And the page count doesn't bother me.....  I'll order it in.

That'd probably be an interesting read.

Around here, I'd likely find it in the how-to section, though.

If you want a copy, let me know.  I'll be placing an order for my store on Monday.

I got it, and I've started it.  I'm still trying to get comfortable with his writing style and see where he's coming from and where he's headed.....

He's coming from behind, and he's headed up your ass.

Oh wait, we aren't talking about Bish.

Sounds kinda whiney...and it looks like news story rehash. I guess I'll read it if Dazie does.
