We almost got a chance to play a side stage years ago, but we lost to some shit alterna-band and their guitarist died two years later while trying to evade police in his girlfriend's car after stealing her money to buy cocaine.

The Buzzcocks and LTJ are good.  :D

The Plain White T's are from Naperville... maybe Wheaton.  They're not that great - but they're a hell of a lot better than they used to be.

I don't think I've heard them.  But I'll agree anyway.  ;)

Of these...

Bouncing Souls - pretty good
Dog Fashion Disco - WTF?  And BTW, anyone remember the band "Dogs Die in Hot Cars"?  What happened to them?
Gym Class Heroes - part of Cobra Starship, who wrote "Snakes on a Plane (Bring It)", so they can't suck.  Actually, I have their album, and it's okay.
Joan Jett and the Blackhearts - pretty good
Less Than Jake - excellent
Plain White T's - not bad
Shiragirl - a Jewish band?

Maybe DC can go and peg Joan Jett with a bottle to the noggin.
