Title: Sloppy Joes. Fan/not a fan?
Post by: DownSouth on May 17, 2006, 03:20:30 PM
I'm really craving a sloppy Joe.  Haven't had one in years.  Do you like them?  Do you put anything on yours besides the meat and bread?

A sammich is just a sammich, but a manwich is a meal.

I used to hate sloppy joes, mostly because of the awful ones we had in school.  :barfy:

But for a while there, serving "bold" manwiches was just about the only way I could et my daughter to eat a full meal, so I'd make them once a week or so.  Not bad.

Textured vegetable protein.  Faux meat.

It's actually quite good in the meals I've used it for.  Mostly chili and burrito filling...

My manwich!

(I learned from Wikipedia that Hermes is voiced like Phil Lamarr, even though Lamarr's portrayal sounds a lot like John DiMaggio -- Bender -- doing a Jamaican accent, which he does pretty well in FFX and FFX2.)

I made TVP sloppy joe for dinner last night.  Pretty good, although I didn't use Manwich BOLD like I wanted to, I just used Heinz sloppy joe sauce.

definitely not because i have you on ignore!  gamp used that joke on me the other day, and i was like really why? and then she said there is no ignore, so now this joke is even less funny.
