I just heard mention of them on VH1 and damn, I'm diggin it!

I think we are the same person. I was just watching Best Week Ever and digging that song!
I downloaded a bunch of their stuff while napping. Now that I've slept all afternoon, I'll probably be up all night, so I will try to remember to dump them.
I totally heard them on BWE, too.
More proof that we really need to go to Vermont or one those other free loving, tree hugging states and get married.
Insert a generic "need meat in that sandwich?" pick up line thing
Oh yeah baby, you know we need your meat.

*UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH*
Well, I am done*. Thanks ladies.
* done what?
Therre are a couple of ttracks in the dump. There aree more to come. I can't type.
I highly suggest listening to this music. Beef, I'm looking at you.

I could be outside your window right now. Or hiding in your duct work. That sounds like a freaky euphamism to me.
Seriously, though. Listen to Crazy. I can't stop listening to it. There are 6 songs in the dump right now, and 1 or 2 more to come.
Even Timothy loves them. He kept playing The Boogie Monster.
It's awesome. I'll pick up the disc this week.
Thanks Jess. :)

Yay! This makes me tres happy!
So far, my favorite is Gone Daddy Gone.
I never listen to radio. But I just turned it on briefly and Crazy was on.
1. Such a great song.
2. Perhaps there's hope for radio after all.
I've heard a couple of their songs. They're okay, but not mega-awesome or anything.
Maybe my taste in music is a little different.

It is an amazing song. I love it so much.
I knew Gone Daddy Gone was familiar. My brother finally told me that it was a Violent Femmes cover. I knew I'd heard it before, but couldn't place it.
Here's the clip of Gnarls performing "Crazy" at the MTV Movie Awards in fully authentic Star Wars costumes. Dig that crazy Fett...

I am watching that clip right now and I am not really impressed. It's cool he's got the whole soul thing going on, but I dunno it just seems contrived. Maybe it's just the setting.
Meh. I'm not blown away.

yeah, I caught them on the show while flipping channels. I stopped immediately when I saw Chewbacca on drums. Eventually I noticed the music was pretty good too. I've since listened thanks to whoever placed some stuff in the dump. Pretty good music. I really like the single Crazy.
I saw them on a rerun of the MTV awards and I liked that song.
I believe that Crazy song is now every third play in radio rotation.

And for that it has gone from "eh, not bad" to "change the channel".
Crossover hits are simultaneously very good and very bad. Very good because they appeal to a lot of people, and very bad because you can't escape them.
The last song I remember being THIS pervasive was "Sunny Came Home". 103.5 in Ft Lauderdale played it at least every hour, right along with "You Were Meant For Me".
That Shawn Colvin album is gorgeous.
I would rather have "Crazy" being beaten to death than the crap that usually gets overplayed on the radio. Then again, I rarely listen to radio in the first place. Don't your vehicles have CD players?
My CD player rarely updates the traffic for me.

Do they have ones that do tricks now? Or, better yet, household chores? 'Cause I could really use that.

Apparantly, my Grumpus needs an upgrade. It made all these terrible noises when I put the cd in the slot.
