whoa. i had no idea that the platypus is a VENOMOUS CREATURE. this secret power, of course, makes the platypus a ninja.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Platypus
Facts:
1. Platypuses are mammals.
2. Platypuses fight ALL the time.
3. The purpose of the platypus is to flip out and kill people WITH HIS VENOMOUS CLAWS.
If you don't believe that platypuses have REAL Ultimate Power you better get a life right now or they will chop your head off WITH THEIR VENOMOUS CLAWS!!! It's an easy choice, if you ask me.

Are you drunk?
I had no idea, by the way. I will now forever live in fear of platypii.
nope. i have no excuse.
So what prompts a person to read up on platypus(es? ii?) on wiki?
i was reading a thread on louisville mojo, and they were discussing what venomous creatures people had come into contact with, and the headline said something about snakes, spiders and platypuses. i thought the poster was kidding.
i was horribly disappointed, however, when the thread progressed and it became obvious that no one had had a near death experience with a platypus. maybe no one survives them.
I really want to participate on mojo, but I hate the layout.
it is easily the suckassest set up for a board that i have ever seen.
I agree wholeheartedly. I do look at their classifieds from time to time, though.
FYI - Platypus backwards is Supytalp.
