Last night, while sitting on the couch watching Futurama, one of my cats who was next to me suddenly sat up and started horking up something. When it came out, it was about three inches long and shaped like a poop. I asked her why she felt the need to eat poop, and she horked up a few more small chunks of cat barf.
I cleaned it up and petted her, and then went up to bed.
Me: "For some reason, Truffle ate a piece of poop. She just threw it up."
Wife: "That wasn't poop, it was a hairball."
Me: "It smelled like poop, and it was this long." (holds up fingers three inches apart)
Wife: "It was a hairball."
Me: "If you say so."
I still think it was poop -- it certainly smelled awful enough (and pooplike enough), and way worse than normal cat barf, which really doesn't smell too bad at all. I just don't know why she would've felt the urge to eat it.
She seems okay. She's sitting next to me right now, waiting for me to pet her. So I will.
I know dogs eat cat poop. But cats? Anyone?
I don't know, but I saw two cats fucking last night. It was hilarious.
its a hairball. My cat horks those up too and they look just like poop. all that matted hair in the gettin shaped up inthe stomach...
listeniing to a cat retch is nasty.. when i find Tiger gettin ready to yak, i move him to the kitches floor so the juices dont soak into the carpet.

What did the taste test tell you?
It was a hair ball.
This thread really goes well with my lunch.
It was a hairball.
Score 1 for Mrs. Listener!
Blast! Damn you all!
:)
If it were poop, it would have come out in smaller chunks. A cat is not going to swallow something three inches long without chewing it.

Unless they're licking their own ass and get some from there.

Don't complain. You didn't have to clean it up.
