Or look for torrents of it on something like torrentspy.com ( search for "empire at war" ). I'm so excited...
This makes me really wish I had a working PC. And money to get it. And no job so I could play it a lot. I'd want to become the most badass Bounty Hunter evar.
i d/l'd the demo. wasnt really that great, short of it having the title star wars.
The preview clips look really cool. Is it a first person game or one of those kind where you literally control whole armies and just play overlord and strategist?
Some people have already modded it to open up most of the game's features, so you can build Imperial Star Destroyers and Calamari Cruisers.
Also, Boba Fett kicks all sorts of Space Battle ass... on the ground, he uses a flamethrower and cooks troops.
AT-ATs spawn Stormtroopers every 30 seconds or so.
Chewbacca can take over any enemy vehicle.
I can't wait till this game comes out in a couple weeks.

One thing I don't like is the lack of freedom in building bases on the ground. Having to secure build pads to build on static locations is really a poor design. Being able to choose your battleground and build your structures to suit your defensive needs would be more interesting.

Similar to Dune 2: The Building of a Dynasty, where you could CHOOSE to build on plain rock instead of stone slabs, but if you did you had to pay a penalty and your building was damaged.
