Does anyone have one of those refrigerators with the freezer being a drawer on the bottom and the refrigerator having as many as two doors on the top? What do you think? Good? Bad? Indifferent?

I really wanted one when we bought the fridge for our new house (back in April), but we couldn't afford the $1600 they were asking. So we got a nice side-by-side.
Next time, though.
We just bought a stainless steel side-by-side. 26.0 cubic foot Frigidaire. I wanted the side-by-side to get the filtered water and ice in the door.
The problem with side-by-side is that you can't hold a party tray in them.
Or a pizza.
I have a friends who bought the biscut color one of these, and love it. Our house came with one, but we did spend $1100 on a washer dryer. And not the Mack-Daddy one Honeybahn wanted.

You can put a large pizza in ours, I know that for sure. I haven't tried to put a party tray in it, though.

Ours too, although it's a very tight fit and you have to watch not to bump stuff on the door.

I third this.
I prefer the idea of the freezer on the bottom- that way you don't have to stand on your head to get stuff from the fridge.
The one your describing is like the one I have x50. Mine is old and the freezer is held shut with duct tape, but it has double doors on the top. I like it since I don't have to open the whole thing to get stuff out. I would like it to work better though.

Go back to bed sicky.
I've never been a fan of the bottom freezer.
I'm an excellent defroster.
I would just like a handle that won't fall off if you don't pull it a certain way. That would be so nice.
We had a bottom freezer growing up. I've always only had one big door, not two small ones.
i've always had top-freezer units. i like those drawer freezers for storing stuff, but they don't give you a good way to organize -- usually an open tub and a basket that sits on top -- so i can see myself pulling lots of frozen items out in order to get down to the stuff that has slowly shuffled to the bottom.
the full-size separate fridge and freezer pair is nice. imagine how much expired food you can fit in those!

My parents have a side-by-side in the house, the old freezer-on-top unit outside, and ever since we'd moved into that house in 1983 there's been a hugh jass freezer (bigger than our indoor fridge/freezer combo unit) by the water heater.
There's stuff in there from when we moved in. I'm sure of it.

I've always understood that if you reach into the fridge and the food moves out of your reach... OR... if you see the food dressed in black cryin , then thats a good sign of do not eat.
