Title: Street Art Pieces
Post by: SockmonkeyHolocaust on November 14, 2005, 05:24:06 PM
I really, really like street art and Philadelphia has more than its fair share of talented people creating art for the sake of creating it.

Below are two of my most recently acquisitions:

Both are handmade.

It's everywhere. There are whole collectives of artists who do nothing more than silkscreen posters and images or paint stuff to put up.

The whole idea is that art should be free and temporary.

We should have spent more time in Austin hunting down the street artists.

I'm sad that I missed this.  The images are dead.  Repost, SMH?

I don't know where they are but I am probably starting a site when it gets warm that is dedicated to Philly street art.
