Krystal. White Castle, if you prefer. One of the most awesomest fast food joints on the planet, and not just because there was a movie made about them (which I may watch tonight for lack of anything better to do).
I crave Krystal. Very very much.
But I've been so good. I've eaten fast-food twice -- one burger, one Arby's sub -- in three weeks.
NO! I must be strong and not give into the Krystal side.
There's only one thing to do: pick up something else that's taste-tacular but not fast food.

WILLPOWER!
Actually, I just have the urge to keep off any weight I lost while being sick. But it's the same thing, if you average it out.
Ok, I know we've been over this, but it obviously needs to be revisited.
Krystal is nowhere near in the same league as White Castle. White Castle is FAR superior.
pshaw. I've never heard of Krystal and wouldn't use White Castle's grease to lube my car.
In 'n Out baybee!

Yeah, that's right.
I've never witnessed an In 'n Out restaurant before, but they score points just for the name.

If you go to Subway and get either the roast beef, or the ham and turkey, and avoid cheese and mayo, load up on veggies, you can have a foot and then some for minimal calories. I've been doing that a lot on my Weight Watchers plan and 2 foot longs represent about 2/3 of my day's meal allowance. Apparently, they are fairly low in calories and fat. Jared was on to something.
I'm hungry. And my husband froze the bacon. *grumble*

It's time to trade him for a man who can respect bacon.
He was "saving" it for me.
He did a great job.
Now I want Wendy's.
I had a frozen soft taco instead.

Have you seen the ads with the little square dude? He calls himself beefy in a few of them.

That's all well and good, except that Subway is the American version of Chinese food. You're starving an hour or two later.
Or is that just me?

He's started eating meat a tad for the protein side. It was a health issue. I never understood his vegan thing anyway. If God didn't want us eating meat, he wouldn't have made cows taste so good!

Krystal Uber Alles!
Somebody bring me Krystal, White Castle, In 'N Out and Sonic and I'll be the judge.
I'll be having In 'N Out for dinner Sunday night.
Krystal wants you, too.

Who's in the pic?
I celebrated my bloodwork results yesterday with Krystal today. I haven't had fast food in two weeks; I was due a treat to myself. That, and I really didn't feel like making lunch.
Mmm. Krystal. I love when you get the double-Krystals and you get the bun in the middle that's extra-gooey with grease and onion squish.
The results were good... general cholesterol 165 (way below warning levels), good and bad cholesterol both within 10 points of nominal, the only thing that was too high was my glucose, but that's because I almost passed out and they gave me two containers of high-sugar apple juice before finishing the blood draw.
Now I have the Krystal out of my system (or, at least, I will in about eight hours *heh heh heh*) and I'm good for another two weeks without fast food.
w00t.
Have I ever mentioned that we don't have Krystal here?
Listener, that middle bun gooey grease and onion squish description scares me.
White Castle has more greasy oniony goodness.
Note to self: turn safety on before GISing 'Krystal'.
