Synopsis:  Dog lost from Palm Beach during Hurricane Jeanne somehow ends up in Albuquerque, and was just reunited with his owner a year later.

Of course, the dog doesn't know how long it's been, because dogs have no concept of time.

You're right that dogs have no concept of time.  I can leave the room and come back and my dogs act like I've been gone a month, but without being emaciated.

Why would you be emaciated?

You go without eating for a month and see how you turn out.  This dog is finally getting big enough to make a meal.
